The First Annual FSU Volunteer Fair

This day will feature food, games, and interactive tabling put on by a mix of student organizations, school departments, and local non-profits.

The event will take place outdoors on the lawns between the library, dwight hall, hemenway hall, and around McCarthy.

The goal is to have as many local non-profits tabling for Volunteers around campus, and then mix in student org and departmental tabling from organizations with relevant volunteer-adjacent missions, as well as vendors, (games, food, photo booth, etc.)

This event is in the planning stage, but we are working closely with other orgs, as well as FSU's Ben Trapanick on a large volunteer-related event that can gather a lot of participation from student families.

There are two other event requests that we're putting in as part of a week of volunteering.

One is the collaborative pollinator garden install that we're organizing.

The other is a "Survey Says" style FSU game night.

The idea is to have the pollinator garden install event the week prior to the Volunteer Fair, and have the Survey Says game night in the evening after the Volunteer Fair.
